Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of, and is incorporated into, the Terms of Use. It applies to
everyone who accesses the Accountrix AI Platform. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Terms of
Use.
1. Purpose
To protect the Platform, our users and the public, and to preserve our intermediary safe harbour under
section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, we require all use to comply with this Policy.
2. You may
- Use the Services for lawful accounting, financial-statement and compliance work in the course of your
profession or business.
- Upload only data you are authorised and lawfully entitled to process.
- Configure and use the Tally Connector on machines you control.
3. You must not
Security & integrity: attempt to access any data, account or system that is not yours; defeat or test
authentication, authorisation or tenant-isolation controls; scan, probe or penetration-test the Platform
without our prior written authorisation; introduce malware; overload, flood or conduct any
denial-of-service activity; or interfere with any other user's use.
Content & legality: upload, store or transmit any unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent
or harmful content; upload personal data without a lawful basis or necessary consent; or use the Platform
to commit or facilitate any offence under Indian law.
Platform abuse: reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape or copy the Platform except where the law expressly
permits; resell or sublicense the Services without authorisation; circumvent usage limits, billing or
credits; or misuse the AI features (including prompt manipulation to extract another user's data or to
produce unlawful Output).
Misrepresentation: impersonate any person or entity, or misstate your affiliation, identity or particulars.
4. Reporting abuse
Report suspected violations, security issues or unlawful content to founders@accountrixai.com (security)
or founders@accountrixai.com (content/abuse). We act on valid reports and lawful orders as described in
our Lawful Access Request SOP and Grievance Redressal Policy.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and, at our discretion and without liability, warn, throttle, suspend
or terminate access, remove or disable content, preserve records, and report conduct to law-enforcement or
regulatory authorities. We will act on valid court or government orders to remove or disable unlawful content
as required by the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021.
6. Changes
We may update this Policy; the current version governs your use. Material changes are notified in-app or by
email.
