This Cookie Policy explains how Accountrix AI uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies on the
Platform. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies / local storage
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. "Local storage" is a browser facility that stores data
on your device. We use both to operate the Platform, keep you signed in, and keep your session secure.
2. Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Essential? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication tokens / session, security (CSRF/anti-abuse), load handling, remembering your consent choices | Yes — cannot be switched off |
| Functional / preferences | Remembering interface preferences (e.g. theme) and your most recent context | No |
| Diagnostic | Anonymous/minimised error and performance diagnostics (via Sentry, with personal-data scrubbing enabled) | No |
We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell any data
collected via cookies.
3. Authentication cookies
Our session cookies are set with the Secure and SameSite attributes and are transmitted only over HTTPS.
They are necessary for the Platform to function and to protect your account.
4. Your choices
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will
prevent you from signing in and using the Platform. Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies,
we obtain it through our consent mechanism.
5. Changes
We may update this Policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.
